Luxury Outdoor Kitchen Design & Construction

Peachtree City homeowners don't settle for basic patios. With nearly 100 miles of cart paths connecting neighborhoods like Kedron, Braelinn, and Glenloch, outdoor entertaining is woven into daily life here. Our outdoor kitchen builds are designed around how you actually use your backyard — not pulled from a catalog.

Full-Service Design & Utility Integration

An outdoor kitchen isn't just cabinetry and a grill — it's a construction project that requires gas lines, water supply, drainage, and dedicated electrical circuits. We handle the complete build from underground utility runs to the finished countertop. Every kitchen we design in Peachtree City includes properly permitted gas connections for your grill and burners, a water line and sink with drainage tied into your existing system, and GFCI-protected electrical for lighting, refrigeration, and small appliances. No subcontractor juggling, no surprise change orders — one team from start to finish.

  • Gas, water, and electrical lines permitted and installed by licensed tradespeople
  • Weather-resistant cabinetry rated for Georgia's heat and humidity
  • Premium stone countertops — granite, quartzite, or porcelain slab options

Built-In Appliances & Cooking Stations

Your outdoor kitchen should cook the way you cook. We build custom islands around the appliance configuration that fits your style — whether that's a professional-grade gas grill with a sear burner, a wood-fired pizza oven for weekend gatherings, or a full setup with a smoker, side burner, and built-in refrigeration. Every appliance is integrated into the masonry structure with proper clearances, ventilation, and non-combustible surrounds so the finished kitchen is safe, functional, and built to last through decades of Peachtree City summers.

We also design the layout for real workflow — prep space next to the sink, grill positioned for smoke management relative to your seating area, and the refrigerator within arm's reach. These details are what separate a showpiece kitchen from one that actually gets used every weekend. Our Peachtree City clients host year-round, and the kitchens we build are designed for that kind of use.

Built-In Grill Stations

Professional-grade grills integrated into stone or stucco islands with proper gas connections and ventilation for safe, high-performance outdoor cooking.

Pizza Ovens

Custom brick or prefabricated wood-fired pizza ovens built into your island — a centerpiece appliance for weekend entertaining.

Seamless Home Integration

Designed to blend your indoor and outdoor living areas with matching materials, coordinated sightlines, and smooth transitions from your kitchen or great room.

Fireplaces & Fire Pits

Custom Fireplaces & Fire Pits

A hand-crafted fireplace transforms your backyard from a seasonal space into a year-round gathering spot. Whether it's a full masonry fireplace anchoring your patio or a fire pit ringed with seating, our builds are designed to match your home's architecture and handle Peachtree City's climate for decades.

Hand-Crafted Stone Fireplaces

Every masonry fireplace we build in Peachtree City starts with your home's existing architecture. We match the stone, mortar color, and style so the fireplace looks like it was part of the original design — not an afterthought bolted onto the patio. Our masons work with locally sourced fieldstone, stacked stone, and natural ledgestone to create fireplaces that carry real visual weight and deliver genuine radiant heat.

Structurally, every fireplace sits on a reinforced concrete foundation engineered for the specific soil conditions on your lot. The firebox is lined with refractory brick rated for sustained high temperatures, and the chimney is built to Fayette County code with proper flue sizing and spark arrestors. These aren't decorative facades — they're working fireplaces built to be used hard, season after season.

  • Locally sourced stone matched to your home's exterior
  • Refractory brick firebox rated for sustained use
  • Fayette County code-compliant chimney construction
  • Reinforced concrete foundation for lasting stability

Fire Pits & Outdoor Lounging

Fire pits are one of the most used features in any Peachtree City backyard. They're where weeknight dinners turn into three-hour conversations and where kids roast marshmallows while adults catch up. We build both gas and wood-burning fire pits, from clean-lined circular designs to rustic stone configurations that anchor a full seating area.

Gas fire pits offer push-button convenience — no wood to haul, no ash to clean, and adjustable flame height for the ambiance you want. Wood-burning pits deliver the real campfire experience with the crackle and scent that gas can't replicate. Either way, we build on a proper base with drainage, use fire-rated materials throughout, and position the pit for safe clearances from structures and landscaping. For homes with underdeck systems, we integrate fire features into the lower patio level to create all-weather outdoor lounging spaces.

  • Gas and wood-burning options available
  • Integrated seating walls and built-in benches
  • Underdeck system integration for covered patios
  • Year-round family enjoyment in any weather

"It's tough to find people you feel like you can trust not to try and get over on you. I spoke with Wes about work I needed to get done and was surprised at his level of honesty and professionalism. Putting that with the word of mouth on the quality of his work... and I wouldn't/won't hesitate to work with him on my next project."

"We had a major project to be undertaken. Need construction to the rescue!! We had water damage to some of the framing on the home exterior and major deck demo and rebuild. They handled it all. I had some unique requests that I wanted installed on my deck. The DekDrain rain system along with the full composite Dekorators Summit boards and railing with a cocktail rail was our desire. We also had to have a concrete patio area below. Wes and his team made it all happen. The subframe was built with better materials that any other contractor had even offered and I was impressed with that alone. I have no doubt that hurricane force winds would have no effect on this fortress of a deck. Even the city inpectors were wowed by the build quality. The craftsmanship and finishing of the final product is top tier. They will take the time to make sure it's your dream come true."

FAQ

Outdoor Kitchen & Fireplace FAQs for Peachtree City

Common questions from homeowners planning an outdoor kitchen or custom fireplace in Peachtree City, GA.

How much does a custom outdoor kitchen cost in Peachtree City?

Most outdoor kitchen projects in Peachtree City range from $25,000 to $80,000, depending on the scope. Material selection is one of the biggest factors — a natural stone island with granite countertops runs considerably more than a stucco finish with concrete surfaces. Appliance packages vary widely too; a basic built-in grill setup is a different investment than a full suite with refrigeration, a sink, and a pizza oven. Utility line extensions for gas, water, and electrical also affect the final number, especially on properties where the kitchen site is far from the house. We provide detailed, line-item estimates after an on-site consultation so you know exactly where your budget is going.

Do I need a permit for an outdoor fireplace?

Yes, in most cases you'll need a building permit for an outdoor fireplace in Peachtree City. Fayette County requires setback distances from property lines and structures, and chimney height must meet local fire safety codes. If your fireplace uses a gas line, a separate gas permit and safety inspection are required. We handle the entire permitting process for every project — from the initial application through final inspection — so you don't have to navigate the county offices yourself.

What is the best material for outdoor countertops?

For Peachtree City's climate, granite is one of the strongest choices for outdoor countertops. It handles UV exposure without fading, resists heat from grills and hot cookware, and holds up well in Georgia's humidity when properly sealed. Concrete countertops offer more design flexibility and can be stained to match your home, but they require periodic sealing to prevent moisture absorption. Porcelain slabs are another option gaining popularity — virtually zero porosity means no staining, even through our humid summers. We walk homeowners through the trade-offs during the design phase based on their specific usage and aesthetic goals.

Can an outdoor kitchen be installed on an existing deck?

It's possible, but the deck has to be engineered for the additional weight. A stone outdoor kitchen island can weigh several thousand pounds, which far exceeds what most residential decks are framed to support. We start with a certified structural assessment to determine whether your existing framing, footings, and ledger board can handle the load — or whether reinforcement is needed. Fireproofing is another consideration; any cooking appliances require non-combustible surfaces and clearances from the deck material. We've completed several deck-mounted kitchen installations in Peachtree City neighborhoods, including projects in Kedron and Braelinn where we reinforced the substructure to meet full code requirements.

Wood-burning vs. Gas fireplaces: Which is better?

It depends on what matters most to you. Wood-burning fireplaces deliver the authentic crackling ambiance and radiant heat that many Peachtree City homeowners love for cool fall evenings. However, they require a proper chimney, regular ash cleanup, and wood storage. Gas fireplaces are simpler to install, ignite with a switch, and produce no smoke or ash — making them a lower-maintenance choice. Gas units also don't require chimney construction in most designs, which reduces cost. Many of our clients in the Peachtree City area choose gas for convenience and wood-burning for the experience; we'll help you decide based on how you plan to use the space.

How long does it take to build a masonry fireplace?

A custom masonry fireplace typically takes 4 to 8 weeks from groundbreaking to completion. The concrete foundation needs 7 to 10 days of curing time before the stone or brick work begins. The masonry phase itself depends on the design complexity — a straightforward stone fireplace with a simple hearth might take 2 to 3 weeks, while a larger structure with a mantel, seating walls, and integrated wood storage takes longer. Weather can also be a factor during Georgia's rainy stretches. We provide a detailed project timeline during your design consultation so you can plan around it.

Do you offer outdoor lighting with kitchen builds?

Absolutely. Lighting is a critical part of any outdoor kitchen we build. We integrate task lighting above cooking and prep surfaces so you can grill safely after dark, ambient LED lighting along countertop ledges and seating areas for atmosphere, and pathway or step lighting for safe navigation around the space. Proper lighting also adds a layer of security to your backyard. We design the lighting plan as part of the overall kitchen layout so everything is wired cleanly during construction rather than tacked on afterward.

Can I include a pizza oven in my outdoor kitchen?

Yes — pizza ovens are one of the most popular additions we build into Peachtree City outdoor kitchens. We offer both custom brick ovens built into the masonry island and high-end prefabricated units from manufacturers like Alfa and Forno Bravo. Custom brick ovens deliver authentic wood-fired cooking and become a visual centerpiece, while prefabricated units heat faster and offer more consistent temperature control. Either option requires proper structural support in the island and adequate clearances from combustible materials. We'll walk you through both options during the design phase.
